The role

We are actively searching for a passionate and dedicated an Allied Health Assistant to join our vibrant healthcare team. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to enhancing individuals’ lives through exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse client population.

We are looking for applicants who can:

> Provide therapy and support to children and adults in their homes, school, childcare centres, kindergarten or social settings.

> Adhere to a personalised plan created by the Occupational Therapists.

> A strong dedication to supporting children and families, along with a commitment to upholding a professional, positive, and ethical work environment, is crucial.

> Assist in the ongoing enhancement of the practice’s processes and procedures.

The location

We are a mobile clinic so you can see clients in their own environment which will help build a relationship with them. We also have clinic space located in Geelong for clients who prefer clinic setting.

Essential criteria
  • Level 2 AHA Qualification or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS screening check clearance
  • Valid Driver’s licence and use of personal vehicle
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Time management skills, ability to manage competing work priorities, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Computer literacy and tech-savviness, with experience in healthcare client management program is highly regarded.
  • Creative and problem solving skills.
  • Reliable and committed to providing a high quality of service to clients.
  • Ability to build rapport and engage with families and young children. 
  • You have a compassionate and enthusiastic approach and have a genuine desire to improve your client’s physical and emotional well-being.
