The role
We are actively searching for a passionate and dedicated an Allied Health Assistant to join our vibrant healthcare team. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to enhancing individuals’ lives through exceptional customer service. We are looking for applicants who can:
> Provide therapy and support to children and adults in their homes, school, childcare centres, kindergarten or social settings.
> Adhere to a personalised plan created by the Occupational Therapists.
> A strong dedication to supporting children and families, along with a commitment to upholding a professional, positive, and ethical work environment, is crucial.
> Assist in the ongoing enhancement of the practice’s processes and procedures.
The location
We are a mobile clinic so you can see clients in their own environment which will help build a relationship with them. We also have clinic space located in Geelong for clients who prefer clinic setting.
Essential criteria
- Level 2 AHA Qualification or equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS screening check clearance
- Valid Driver’s licence and use of personal vehicle
- Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team and independently.
- Time management skills, ability to manage competing work priorities, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Computer literacy and tech-savviness, with experience in healthcare client management program is highly regarded.
- Creative and problem solving skills.
- Reliable and committed to providing a high quality of service to clients.
- Ability to build rapport and engage with families and young children.
- You have a compassionate and enthusiastic approach and have a genuine desire to improve your client’s physical and emotional well-being.
