Function Focus Allied Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our supportive, collaborative and values‑driven team. You’ll work with clients across the lifespan, with a primary focus on paediatrics, delivering meaningful, evidence‑informed therapy that supports participation, wellbeing and independence.

This is a hybrid position, offering a balanced mix of:
Clinic-based sessions at our central Geelong CBD location
Community visits (home, school, kinder, community settings)
Work-from-home flexibility for admin, planning and report writing
You’ll support clients funded through NDIS, Medicare, Victoria Catholic Education Authority, TAC and private referrals.
Your responsibilities
– Provide high‑quality, family‑centred OT services to children (primary caseload), adolescents and adults.
– Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans.
– Deliver engaging, strengths‑based interventions that support participation, regulation and skill development.
– Collaborate with families, carers, educators and other professionals.
– Maintain clear, timely and compliant documentation.
– Contribute to a positive, supportive and reflective team culture.
Essential criteria
Who You Are
You’re an OT who brings warmth, professionalism and curiosity to your practice. You enjoy autonomy but value being part of a connected, supportive team.
- Must have completed an Occupational Therapy degree.
- Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric OT (preferred).
- Experience working with the NDIS as an OT
- Ability to register with Medicare.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable car.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children, families and clients of all ages.
- Compassionate, strengths‑based and neurodiversity‑affirming approach.
